Job Description Summary
The Jr Services Specialist – Warehouse and Logistics Operations supports the efficient flow of medical equipment and parts across the Belux region. This role ensures accurate inventory management for Field Service Engineers, the local warehouse, and strategic Belux stock, while coordinating daily logistics and tool management for interventions and installations. With a proactive and solution oriented mindset, you help drive operational excellence, support process improvements, and collaborate closely with internal teams and logistics partners to deliver reliable, high quality service for colleagues and customers.
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
* Support the receipt, storage, preparation, and shipment of medical equipment and parts.
* Perform order picking, packaging, labeling, and quality/quantity checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
* Manage stock accuracy through physical inventories and timely system updates.
* Collaborate closely with Field Service Engineers and Service Management for daily logistics coordination.
* Act as a point of contact for logistical escalations, urgent transports, and shipment follow‑ups.
* Follow up with international logistics colleagues to secure timely deliveries to the warehouse, PUDO locations, or customer sites.
* Monitor inventory levels for Field Service Engineers, the local warehouse, and strategic Belux stock, with particular focus on aged inventory.
* Create and track escalations in case of part unavailability and proactively propose alternative solutions.
* Coordinate with logistics partners and support the management of daily‑use tools, installation tools, and calibration schedules.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of warehouse and service logistics processes while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree (3‑year post‑secondary) in logistics, transportation, production management, or a related field.
* 0–3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations (including internships or apprenticeships).
* Good IT skills, including Excel; experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset.
* Ability to lift light loads and work safely in a warehouse environment.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
* Proficiency in French and/or Dutch; good command of English required.
