You will lead and manage the R&D Incubation Team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration with global incubation consultants. Your responsibilities will include coordinating in-house lab tests, field trials at pilot customers, and scientific research activities at partner universities and institutes.
As a bridge between technical development and business needs, you will translate early-stage findings into projects. This requires staying open to new technologies and ideas while maintaining focus on end-user value and product feasibility.
You must ensure high standards in project documentation, reporting, and evaluation. Additionally, you will maintain an overview of all ongoing incubation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
A Master's degree in civil engineering, preferably with a specialization in bioengineering, electro-mechanics, control technology, or related fields, is required for this position. You should have proven experience in people management and team leadership.
An analytical and pragmatic approach, combined with excellent communication skills, is essential for connecting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A willingness to dive into biological systems and processes, even outside your core engineering background, is also necessary.
