PpAs Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Tractebel, part of the ENGIE Group, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the company’s Digital and IT strategy in support of its engineering and energy transition ambitions. Reporting at executive level, you will drive business value through technology and organizational transformations, ensuring secure, efficient and scalable IT services across multiple geographies. You will hold an end-to-end accountability for Digital  IT across Tractebel, driving consistency, performance and measurable value delivery across all Business Areas, functions and regions. This role combines full business accountability (direct reporting to the CFO organization) with functional alignment to ENGIE Group Digital  IT, delivering both strategic business impact and adherence to Group standards. /p h3What We Offer /h3 ul liTractebel is more than a place to work. It’s an environment built on team spirit, where you can reach your highest potential. /li liWe actively support the development of our people, and the opportunities for growth within the ENGIE Group are wide open. /li liFlexible, hybrid arrangements enable working from home (2 days per week), on‑site or on the go or even part time. /li liTo celebrate our successes, and just have fun, we get together for team sports, afterworks, team‑building activities, our annual party, and more. /li liLocation: Brussels or Paris /li /ul h3Your Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liStrategic alignment  value delivery: Act as a strategic partner to Business Areas and Support Lines, ensuring Digital  IT priorities support Tractebel’s performance, growth and operational needs, with measurable value outcomes. /li liEnd‑to‑end accountability across Tractebel: Hold end‑to‑end accountability for Digital  IT performance, cost, risk, compliance and service outcomes across all Business Areas, functions and geographies, ensuring a consistent ‘One Tractebel’ approach. /li liService delivery operational excellence: Ensure reliable, efficient and scalable IT services (Workplace, Applications, Infrastructure/Cloud, Data), with standardized ITSM practices, SLAs and continuous improvement. /li liCybersecurity resilience: Own and continuously strengthen Tractebel’s cybersecurity posture, ensuring the protection of critical engineering assets, intellectual property, and sensitive data; enforce a strict “no compromise on cybersecurity” principle across all activities; ensure full alignment with ENGIE Group cybersecurity strategy, standards and controls, and lead cyber risk management, resilience and crisis preparedness at enterprise level. /li liBudget ownership financial management: Own the full IT budget lifecycle (planning, tracking, forecasting, optimization), consolidate spending, manage CapEx/OpEx trade‑offs and cost allocation/showback principles in close partnership with Finance. Prepare and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring transparency on performance, risks and value delivery, and contribute to the Medium‑Term Plan (MTP), aligned with Tractebel’s strategic roadmap and financial trajectory /li liTarget Operating Model (TOM) governance: Adapt and deploy the Digital  IT Delivery Model and organization, ensuring coherence with Tractebel’s broader service lines guiding principles and enabling effective end‑to‑end accountability; /li liFoundations for Cloud, Data AI: Lead, architect and implement the enabling foundations (Cloud strategy platforms, data governance and data foundations, AI stack) required to scale secure AI adoption and digital capabilities. /li liCompliance, standards, vendors talent: Ensure regulatory compliance (incl. Digital/IT, Data AI), harmonize enterprise standards and secure interoperability across Tractebel relying on ENGIE global solutions; define and drive the IT vendor and sourcing strategy in close collaboration with Procurement and fully aligned with ENGIE Group sourcing policies; contribute to vendor selection and performance management; build and develop the required capabilities and talent across the Digital  IT function in Tractebel. /li /ul h3Key Stakeholders Interfaces /h3 ul liBusiness Areas (BAs): Co‑define roadmaps, capture demand, prioritize investments and ensure adoption and value realization. /li liFinance: Budget cycles, forecasting, cost allocation/showback model, CapEx/OpEx governance, performance tracking, reporting to the Tractebel CFO and Group Digital  IT function. /li liHuman Resources: Workforce planning, capability building and talent development for Digital  IT roles. /li liLegal, Risk Compliance: Regulatory compliance and contractual obligations, including data and AI considerations. /li liProcurement strategic vendors: Vendor strategy, negotiations, performance management and renewals. /li liENGIE Group Digital  IT: Alignment on Group standards, platforms, cybersecurity, Cloud, Data and AI strategies; contribution to Group initiatives. /li /ul h3Scope Scale /h3 ul li6000 users supported across 40+ countries and locations /li liIT organization of 115 FTEs (85 internal and 30 externals) /li liAnnual IT budget of €30 M (CapEx OpEx) /li liComplex IT landscape with 400 applications and critical systems /li liLarge‑scale transformation programs (Cloud, Data AI, Cybersecurity) /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent through experience /li liProven experience in senior IT leadership roles (CIO, Head of IT, IT Director) in an international environment /li liStrong track record in leading complex IT transformations (Cloud, Cybersecurity, Digitalisation, Data, AI) /li liExperience in engineering, infrastructure or project‑based industries is a strong asset /li liSolid financial acumen with experience managing large IT budgets and cost optimisation initiatives /li liStrong stakeholder management experience at executive and Group level /li liFluent in English; additional languages are an asset /li liA strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities /li liAbility to influence and engage senior stakeholders across business and Group functions /li liA strong leadership presence and the ability to drive change in complex environments /li liA customer‑oriented and business‑value focused mindset /li liResilient, pragmatic and results‑driven /li liFoster collaboration across teams and geographies /li liDemonstrate high ethical standards and integrity /li /ul h3Our Recruitment Process /h3 ul liPre‑screening conversation/HR in‑depth interview (on‑site or via Teams) with the Talent Acquisition Partner /li li1 or 2 business interviews (preferably on‑site) with your future manager /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
