Role SummaryAt Pixie, we are looking for a Facilities & Construction Coordination Project Manager to support the delivery of a new industrial manufacturing plant.This role focuses on managing construction activities and ensuring full facility readiness, including building systems and utilities, so that production equipment can be installed on time and within budget.Success in this position means delivering a fully operational and compliant facility, aligned with local regulations and ready for production. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate construction and fit-out works with contractors, architects, and engineersManage interfaces between civil works, utilities (HVAC, electrical, fluids), and production setupEnsure compliance with local regulations (permits, fire safety, ATEX, Seveso)Liaise with authorities and inspection bodies to secure approvals and certificationsSupervise commissioning and acceptance of building systemsManage snag lists and ensure readiness for equipment installationAlign construction timelines with manufacturing and installation workstreamsOversee health and safety on site and ensure contractor complianceDeliver full facility documentation (as-built drawings, certificates, reports)Budget ManagementOwn and manage the full construction and facilities CAPEX budgetValidate invoices, claims, and variation ordersMonitor and control change orders and cost impactsProduce budget forecasts and financial reportsNegotiate with contractors and suppliersManage contingency budgets and identify risks earlyEnsure full audit trail and support investment approvals
QualificationsStrong experience in industrial construction or facilities project management within manufacturing environmentsProven track record on new build (greenfield) or major plant projectsExperience working with European regulatory frameworksBackground managing multi-contractor construction sitesSolid experience managing large construction budgets
Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, compressed air, water, fire systems)Understanding of clean environments (aerospace or precision manufacturing)Ability to read and challenge architectural and MEP drawingsExperience with xjsrcvq commissioning and handover processesProficiency in project planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)Strong financial management capabilities (cost control, forecasting)
LanguagesFluency in French and English requiredDutch and/or German is a plus
