Software Functional Analyst – Application & Data Management

We are now looking for a Software Functional Analyst – Application & Data Management to strengthen our consultancy team and support exciting projects in the telecom sector.
What You’ll Do
As a Software Functional Analyst, you will:
* Work across the full software development lifecycle (design, build/configuration, testing, rollout).
* Lead requirement gathering and translate them into deliverables (data models, use cases, business processes, test plans, etc.).
* Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal teams.
* Support data & reporting activities (Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
* Coordinate user testing, adoption, and training, ensuring smooth rollouts.
* Apply structured analysis methodologies (e.g. user story modelling, data modelling).
* Contribute to budgets and timelines for projects/releases.
* Ensure the in-life management of applications: support, maintenance, and future releases.
Your Expertise
We’re looking for someone with strong software and telecom knowledge:
* Proven skills in software analysis and design techniques.
* Experience with Operations Support Solutions (OSS) in telecom.
* Familiarity with telecom organizations and activities such as:
* Radio network configuration, design, operations, and optimisation.
* Solid understanding of mobile technologies (2G GSM, 3G UMTS, 4G LTE, 5G).
Your Profile
* Master’s degree with strong background in software solutions, technologies, and development methods.
* At least 3 years of experience in Telecom and/or Software (medior level).
* Experience with telecom software solutions, especially in radio access networks.
* Background in working with external implementation partners.
* Structured, analytical, detail-oriented, and a true team player.
* Proactive, autonomous, and eager to learn.
* Excellent communicator, able to align stakeholders across teams.
* Fluent in English (Dutch/French is an asset).
