To support the continued growth of its European operations, the company is currently looking for a Business Controller.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers and translating financial data into meaningful insights for the business.
Working closely with the finance leadership team, you will act as a key link between operational performance and financial results. You will contribute to financial planning, performance monitoring, and decision support across several European entities.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who is proactive, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activitiesPerform variance analysis between actual results and budgets to identify key driversProvide financial insights and explanations to support business decisions
Support the preparation of the annual budgetContribute to rolling forecasts using operational data and internal KPIsWork closely with operational teams to align financial planning with business realities
Develop and refine profitability analyses across different business units and entitiesAssist in improving financial models used for cash flow forecasting
Track operational spending and ensure alignment with internal policiesSupport business leaders in understanding financial performance and cost drivers
Data & Business Insights
Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting toolsTranslate complex financial information into clear and actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
Identify inefficiencies in financial processesPropose improvements or automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and data reliability
2 to 4 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or auditGood understanding of financial statements and business performance driversExposure to international environments is considered an advantage
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilitiesAbility to build financial models and analyze complex datasetsSolid understanding of accounting principles and their impact on financial reporting
Analytical and curious mindsetAbility to connect financial data with operational performanceStrong communication skills with the ability to explain financial topics clearlyProactive and solution-oriented approachComfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
