Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who enjoys working in a dynamic and supportive team. You’ll be a key player in ensuring our web and mobile applications work smoothly and meet high quality standards. You’ll work closely with developers and product managers to test features both manually and through automation, mostly in JavaScript‑based environments. Your goal is to help the team release faster while keeping our code stable and reliable. You’ll test everything from backend APIs to mobile apps, and help improve how we build and deliver software. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a real impact, work across different systems, and help shape our QA processes.
Responsibilities
Test web and mobile apps manually and with automated scripts to ensure everything works as expected.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand new features and help plan testing early.
Write and maintain test cases to cover new features and existing functionality, ensuring strong test coverage.
Find and report bugs clearly, helping developers understand the issue and how to fix it.
Track bugs from discovery to resolution and confirmation.
Provide test support to the development team throughout all stages of development.
Improve test automation by writing new tests and enhancing the testing framework (mostly in JavaScript).
Participate in code and test reviews, offering suggestions and learning from teammates.
Define and improve QA processes to ensure efficient and reliable testing.
Participate in release testing, ensuring each new version is high‑quality and ready for users.
Take full responsibility for the quality of part of the product.
Test backend (API), frontend, and mobile apps.
Suggest improvements based on test results and user feedback.
Provide status and quality reporting in daily meetings and communicate any QA risks that could affect future releases.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 1 year in test automation.
Strong knowledge of QA processes and testing methods (manual, automated, regression, end‑to‑end, smoke testing).
Experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Good knowledge of object‑oriented programming.
Proficiency with JavaScript‑based test tools such as Cypress or WebdriverIO.
Experience with mobile test automation.
Experience writing comprehensive automated tests.
Knowledge of SQL or PostgreSQL.
Comfortable using tools like Postman, JIRA, Git, and CI/CD platforms such as CircleCI.
Understanding of Page Object Model and other test design patterns.
Experience building or improving test automation frameworks.
Confident in reading and writing clear test plans and bug reports.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; advanced English level.
Detail‑oriented and reliable.
Able to work independently and take initiative.
Curious, proactive, and open to learning new tools and technologies.
Good communication skills: not afraid to speak up or ask questions.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, agile environment with a distributed team.
Nice to have Requirements
ISTQB certification or similar.
Experience with AWS and Docker.
