PCB Design Engineer

In Tubize, you will join more than 250 colleagues recognized by domestic and international partners for expertise on products such as Radio Frequency (RF) Products, C4ISR, Crypto Global Solution, MACS (Aeronautical Intercom) and many others.

As PCB Design Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in layout for HF/RF devices in the design of the next-generation of tactical products. You investigate pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, considering contractual specification requirements and cost.
Your mission
1. Realise layouts of complex printed circuit assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, and structures.
2. Check completed printed wiring board layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.
3. Work in close collaboration with circuit designer for optimizing layout to meet power and area improvement target.
4. Responsible for layout development, validation (DRC/LVS/DFM/EM/IR) and high-quality full-custom layout of analog as well as digital PCBs.
5. Perform according to project planning, provide feedback regarding layout to the project leader and organize tasks and priorities autonomously.
We are looking forward to
Education
6. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
7. At least 3 years of experience in layout design
8. The candidate should be fluent in French, Dutch or English.
Knowledge and skills
9. You have meaningful qualification in full custom layout design
10. Understanding of analog HF/RF circuit
11. Understanding of fabrication techniques and limitations
12. Experience with Cadence or similar layout software
13. Knowledge and experience of EMI / EMC constraints
14. Autonomy
15. Versatility and flexibility
16. Rigorousness, commitment and accountability, ability to take and meet commitments
17. Team spirit, listening and communication skills
