The CAD Designer Electricity supports engineering activities across various sites under the supervision of the CAD Engineering Manager. The position includes preparing, managing, and updating all graphical documentation required for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with internal CAD standards. Beyond drawing production, the CAD Designer actively contributes to the technical design, validation, and optimization of electrical installations (LV/MV distribution, lighting, grounding, etc.).
Design & Engineering
Participate in the technical design of electrical installations from concept to execution.
Challenge and improve design proposals using technical expertise.
Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers to define optimal and compliant solutions.
CAD Execution & Documentation
Deliver documentation throughout all project phases (basic design → as-built).
Review and integrate drawings from external design offices, ensuring coherence and quality.
Manage CAD data exchanges, including integration, file transfers, and versioning.
Autonomously manage all CAD-related aspects of projects in support of project managers.
Ensure alignment between external partners and internal CAD standards.
Perform on-site measurements to validate or adjust design deliverables.
Standards, Support & Training
Promote and enforce internal CAD standards across all stakeholders.
Train and support new CAD colleagues on tools, methodology, and standards.
Provide technical assistance and advice to internal teams and external partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics, or equivalent technical background.
Certifications related to EPLAN, AutoCAD, BIM, or other CAD tools.
Training in electrical standards or electrical design.
Experience with Revit or BIM software is a strong asset.
Good command of Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and associated software.
Languages
Fluent French (oral and written).
Professional level of English for collaboration with international stakeholders.
