Senior team manager - global client delivery

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Team Manager, Global Client Delivery, to join our Central Labs Services team in Belgium, Mechelen.

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of assigned client team members including managing performance metrics, accountability for outcomes and work distribution, performance evaluations, and ensuring the seamless integration of the Project Management team services.

2. Grow and develop the Project Management team including development of succession plans and individual development plans.

3. Ensure management of study milestones and proactive communication with clients, application of best practices regarding budget and risk management, and accuracy in documentation within systems.

4. Coordinate and monitor progress to ensure achievement of Project Management goals.

5. Proactively consult with clients regarding the impact of their decisions. Seek to understand their true needs and how to best deliver with the understanding of how the client defines success.

6. Instill and manage a culture of continuous improvement and quality and productivity ensuring the consistent implementation, use, and review of SOPs.

7. Monitor and track resolution of all client escalations, issues, and concerns.

8. Ensure all services failures are identified, tracked and resolved in a timely manner while taking preventative action to ensure that the same service failure does not occur again.

9. Effectively collaborate with others and work across boundaries as necessary assisting in day-to-day operations of the global team, working with appropriate BD Directors, and working across functions to remove barriers and optimize client delivery consistently.

Minimum Qualifications

10. Bachelor’s degree in life science, medical, scientific, technical, or laboratory discipline

11. 2 or more years of people leadership experience, including managing leaders with direct reports

12. 2 or more years of experience overseeing pharmaceutical or biotechnology projects

Preferred Qualifications

13. 2 or more years c experience in Central Laboratory Services

14. 1 or more years of experience in clinical research

15. 1 or more years’ experience in leading database management, study design or global project management in clinical research industry.

16. 1 or more years of experience in quality event management (capa handling)

The Senior Team Manager will be responsible for the coordination and management of a regional team and global client(s) to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy, structures, processes and metrics of the team to deliver outstanding client satisfaction.
