Financial Controller – Future Group Financial Controller
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller with around 10 years of experience, ready to take on a strategic role within an international organization and grow into a Group Financial Controller position in the medium term.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you will manage the local finance function while collaborating closely with the Group Finance team. You will have full ownership of local financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, and will play a key role in supporting strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Monitor financial performance and KPIs, providing actionable insights to management
* Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors
* Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives for both local and group finance
* Mentor and guide junior finance staff, ensuring process efficiency and accuracy
Profile
* Approximately 10 years of experience in finance/accounting, including controlling roles
* Strong experience in international or multi-entity environments
* Proven ability to manage accounting and finance processes independently
* Strategic thinker with a strong sense of ownership
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in French, Dutch, and English (mandatory)
