The role
The Center of Excellence (CoE) is a program designed to provide recent college graduates with a comprehensive introduction to the executive search and global leadership advisory industry. The program offers development experience in three crucial areas: Relationship building and Partnership, Industry/Capability Knowledge and Communication Presence and Market Facing Potential. With an initial potential duration of 18-24 months, depending on performance and internal opportunities, through on-the-job training, you will gain practical skills while working on real-world projects. You will have the opportunity to engage with top clients and candidates, expanding your network and exposure. Peer and senior mentorship will provide guidance and support throughout your journey. The CoE encourages exploration of different industries and sectors; after initial induction period you will “major” in an industry/capability based on business needs and your individual and personal talents. Additionally, training and development programs will equip you with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in your career at RRA.
The CoE Research Analyst is an integral member of the global research team, supporting predominantly European senior researchers and consultants throughout the search process and beyond. The Analyst will report to the Center of Excellence Lead, and will be in Barcelona, Spain.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing Search Pipeline & Process
* Produce comprehensive reports, which detail the relevant target companies, possible market sources and candidates for an assignment.
* Consistently identify and assist in developing best- in-class, high quality, diverse candidate slates (both obvious and non-obvious), as appropriate, by:
* Developing sound working knowledge of online and proprietary database search engines to identify relevant candidates.
* Identifying potential candidates based on job specification and resumes. Identifying appropriate internal and external sources.
* Collaborate with administrative support in the creation of client status reports.
Developing Insights
* Grow and develop industry-specific and geographic market knowledge.
* Conduct background research and generate insights to drive content for client opportunity pitches and client presentations.
* Effectively manages the research process and exhibits organization skills,
* Contribute to building the RRA database by proactively tracking and capturing individuals in target market / sector / practice.
Communication and Team Orientation
* Connect with team members from different offices to share ideas and best practices.
* Presents synthesized and organized information for communications such as status reports, target lists, etc. ensures the information is clear and understandable to internal and external audiences.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders through regular and proactive communication.
Supporting Research .& Local Community
* Actively participate in the RRA research community, strengthening the internal culture.
* Identify and introduce potential employees to the firm, both opportunistically and when there is a specific hiring need.
The CoE is designed to provide a solid foundation for future career growth within RRA or the broader professional services industry. Successful completion of the program entails a transfer to a Research Associate role.

A university degree from a respected institution is required. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.
