Integration Architect
We are looking for an Integration Architect to design and oversee the seamless assembly of off-the-shelf (COTS) components into a unified platform for air and missile defense systems.
This broad role encompasses designing architectures, data flows, APIs, and middleware to achieve full interoperability in dev, test, and operational environments.
Skills and Responsibilities
* Mid Level (Building on Junior): Develop detailed integration architectures and microservices environments; create comprehensive roadmaps for component interoperability aligned with operational requirements; lead integration efforts in development and test environments s.
* Senior Level (Building on Mid): Architect resilient system-of-systems integrations compliant with advanced standards like protocols; oversee fault-tolerance, security integration, and scalability designs for high-stakes defense applications; direct cross-functional teams in battle labs and operational exercises;
Education, Certifications, and Qualifications
* Required (All Levels): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; European citizenship and National security clearance or UK SC
* Mid Level (Building on Junior): 5 years, including experience in defense, aerospace, or enterprise integration projects; TOGAF Certified or Certified Integration Architect; knowledge of integration standards.
* Senior Level (Building on Mid): 7+ years in aerospace/defense or complex integrations; Certified SOA Architect or equivalent; Master's degree in Systems Engineering or IT.
* Nice to Have (All Levels): Experience in adjacent missions like IoT or fintech integration; additional certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect; proficiency in tools like Talend or Informatica; knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); international experience or language skills; advanced skills in SOA/ESB architectures and microservices; expert skills in complex system-of-systems design with responsibility to develop integration roadmaps and troubleshooting of interoperability issues; multilingual skills (e.g., French, German)
