What will you do?
Within this dynamic role you are responsible for the implementation, coordination and improvement of all the logistics processes and activities related to inbound and outbound vehicle transportation throughout Europe. You will report to the Head of Auctions & Logistics. In striving for operational excellence and high customer satisfaction:
* You communicate and follow up with transport companies and hubs regarding daily execution, changes, improvements and lead times;
* You motivate and guide your team situated across Europe in meeting the company’s goals;
* You assist the Head of Auction & Logistics in the selection of carriers, hub partners and yearly negotiations;
* You work towards automated processes and efficiency, harmonizing one way of working;
* You will be involved in the roll-out and further development of a new transport management system, striving for increased visibility automation, handling bigger volumes and ensuring continuous improvement,
* You ensure compliancy with tax regulations by following up on the CMR documents and transport companies;
* You make suggestions and support the development for new services.
Requirements
Who are you?
* You posses a bachelors degree
* You have minimum 5 years of proven experience in vehicle transportation;
* You have a proven track record of solving complex logistical challenges
* You have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
* You have a data driven, analytical mindset and are a pragmatic thinker;
* You know how to motivate a team and develop their individual potential;
* You are fluent in English and preferably you also have a good knowledge of Dutch
