Project Manager Role
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to coordinate and lead social impact and innovation projects funded by international donors.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and meet strict deadlines. A strong understanding of EU procedures and project design & management methodologies is required.
* The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in management/implementation of EU projects and a university degree. Postgraduate studies will be considered an asset.
* A good command of French (C1 level or higher) is mandatory, while English, French and/or Dutch are essential languages for this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and organise tasks to achieve projects' goals, foreseeing and managing risks, timelines, and deliverables.
2. Directly implement and execute key activities such as project meetings, preparation of documentation, progress reports, research support, development and reviewing of project outputs, and preparation of final reports.
3. Coordinate the implementation of projects' tasks assigned to project partners and/or internal teams (e.g. communication, finance, translation), ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
4. Initiate, manage and cultivate relations with external stakeholders, including project partners, donors and local communities, ensuring effective communication and successful collaboration.
5. Contribute to the identification, design, and development of new project proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and funding opportunities.
6. Represent the organisation in local and international forums, ensuring visibility and fostering partnerships to support its mission.
