The Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea within Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are the key to our success. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees.
Servicing a site that is CTV based (returning onshore on a daily basis) – days on days off rotation system.
Responsibilities
1. Complete maintenance on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems as directed by Supervisor and maintaining and upgrading installation activities
2. Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
3. Creating follow-up orders
4. Responsible for a frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control
5. Contribute to a safe working environment in general
6. Registration of time and material consumption
7. Compliance to Vestas' and client's procedures, processes, policies and instructions
Qualifications
8. Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university
9. Dutch native and English speaking
10. Living within a km range
11. Ideally 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical field or offshore
12. Good knowledge of MS Office
13. Driving license category B
