Job Description
Based on your skills and experience, you’ll manage several projects as project manager. These can be small projects on the order of 250k or larger projects up to 5MLN Euro or more.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities
Within the Project Engineering department, you will set up and lead technical industrial projects, from idea to realization. These projects are carried out for production facilities, infrastructure, and R&D. We have different types of projects in different disciplines. Some projects are in the start‑up phase, some are already ongoing.
You are ultimately responsible for all aspects of your project:
* Responsible for defining the project scope in consultation with the client.
* Defining specific deliverables: what is complete when the project is finished?
* Defining constraints (budget, planning).
* Responsible for assembling and leading the project team.
* Responsible for the technical design of the entire project.
* Responsible for preparing specifications and tender documents for orders, engineering firms, and contractors (both internal and external).
* Responsible for selecting orders, engineering firms, and contractors, and considering specific resources (e.g., designers, outsourcing).
* Directing and monitoring all resources, both internal and external.
* Maintaining contact with the client throughout the project to capture and assess changes. If agreed upon, implementing them in the project (scope changes).
* Reporting to stakeholders.
Profile / Requirements
* You have 3-5 years of experience managing end‑to‑end projects with full responsibility (from pre‑study to execution and delivery).
* You have completed at least 5 relevant projects (100K-2500K).
* You have good knowledge and experience of all common project management aspects.
* You have experience with MS Project or equivalent planning software.
* You have a technical background as a (project) engineer.
* You have a broad general knowledge of the different disciplines: mechanics, electricity, piping, civil, etc.
* You have knowledge and/or experience in the process industry.
* You have an academic thinking level (analytical but also a helicopter view).
* You have technical knowledge such as electromechanics, chemistry.
* You have good reporting skills.

* You have broad experience and a great interest in technology, engineering, and project management.

* Dutch: fluent
