As an SRE, you will have a significant impact on the next generation of the ‘Miles enterprise suite’. Our software encompasses mid- and back-office functions for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. It consists of two parts: the ‘Core’, an ERP software, and the ‘Microservices Platform’ with additional functionalities and portals that interact with the Core.
Your focus will be on the Microservices Platform, specifically on researching and implementing new tools and technologies to improve its setup.
This means you will:
1. Research and experiment with modern technologies to keep improving.
2. Set up Kubernetes Clusters using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible).
3. Automate deployments through the GitOps approach.
4. Help educate colleagues within the team and project teams implementing the software.

Your interests and skills
Since the landscape is constantly evolving, the ability to learn new technologies quickly is crucial.
Additionally, collaboration and communication are very important. You will work closely with team members, IT, and security teams, so everyone needs to be on the same page.
What else is expected:
* A diploma in Informatics, Computer Science, or related fields
* Experience with:
o Terraform
o Ansible
o Jenkins, GitHub Actions
o Artifact Registries such as Harbor & Azure Container Registry
* Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Kafka, HVR, JBoss, Oracle, Java, Python, Bash is a plus.
* Experience with at least one public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, etc.) through work or internships.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
