Business Development Manager – Political Intelligence / SaaS / Corporate Sales


* Location: Hybrid working – typically 3 days in the Brussels office
* Package: €50,000 – €65,000 basic (mid-level) / €40,000 (junior) + uncapped commission (realistic OTE 2x base) + strong benefits


I’m working with a fast-growing, PE-backed intelligence business looking to hire a Business Development Manager focused on corporate clients. This is a high-impact, front-of-business role centred around new business generation, where you’ll be engaging senior stakeholders and selling a market-leading political intelligence platform.


What you’ll be doing:

* Building and owning your sales pipeline (supported by SDRs but also self-generating opportunities)
* Proactively prospecting and opening doors with corporate organisations
* Managing full sales cycles
* Selling SaaS and intelligence solutions in a consultative manner
* Delivering against revenue targets with uncapped commission and accelerators
* Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within an existing client base
* Working closely with analysts to strengthen your commercial conversations


What we’re looking for:

* Interest in politics, policy, or EU affairs
* Proven B2B sales / business development experience
* Strong hunter mentality — proactive and opportunity-driven
* Track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders
* Highly organised with strong pipeline management skills
* Resilient, driven, and commercially focused


Nice to have:

* Experience in SaaS, subscriptions, or data-led solutions
* Exposure to corporate or enterprise sales environments
* Background in political intelligence or public affairs (advantageous, not essential)
