About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Process Automation and Digitalization Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on technical role combining system design, implementation, commissioning, and field troubleshooting across manufacturing and process automation projects.
The successful candidate will take ownership of control systems projects from initial design through to live production, ensuring seamless integration of multi-vendor platforms and cutting-edge automation technologies oriented towards IT/OT integration.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, configure, and deploy control systems using industry-leading platforms
* Implement and commission PLC/DCS solutions across manufacturing sites
* Commissioning and troubleshoot communication protocols and industrial networks
* Conduct on-site system integration and live commissioning activities
* Provide technical support during implementation phases and system handover
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and connectivity issues
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, process specialists, and IT personnel
* Document technical solutions and create system specifications
* Stay current with Industry 4.0/5.0 standards and digitalization trends
* Train client teams on system operation and maintenance procedures
Required Qualifications
Must have proven professional experience with minimum 5 years in at least 2x of the following control systems vendor platforms (listed in preferred order):
I. Siemens (S7 SIMATIC, TIA Portal, WinCC)
II. Emerson (DeltaV, Ovation)
III. Schneider Electric (Unity Pro, EcoStruxure)
IV. ABB (AC500, S800i, DCS systems)
V. Rockwell Automation (CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Studio 5000)
VI. Beckhoff (TwinCAT, Industrial PC)
VII. Honeywell (Experion, PRO-SAFE RT)
VIII. Yokogawa (Centum VP, STARDOM)
IX. Omron (CP-series PLCs, Sysmac Studio)
X. WAGO (eCOCKPIT, PLC systems)
Industrial Protocols & Communications
* Profibus and ProfiNet
* Modbus TCP and RTU

Additional Qualifications
* Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) integration
* Knowledge of Industrial IoT (IIoT) architecture and edge computing
* Background in process industries (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, oil & gas, semiconductors, energy, water treatment)
* Familiarity with cloud-based industrial platforms (Azure, AWS)
* Experience with historian systems and real-time analytics platforms (AVEVA PI)
* Knowledge of digital twin technology and process simulation
* Experience in configuration and programming of robots and cobots
* Knowledge of CNC machines

Employment Details
