organization’s overall technology vision and business goals. /li liLead the development and implementation of platform solutions that support internal applications, customer-facing services, and business processes. /li liFoster innovation and ensure platform services are adaptable to evolving business needs, market changes, and emerging technologies. /li liCollaborate with senior leadership and other departments (e.g., product, development, IT) to define platform requirements and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. /li /ul h3Platform Architecture and Design: /h3 ul liOversee the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance platform infrastructure that supports applications, databases, networks, and services. /li liEnsure platform design incorporates best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery. /li liDefine and implement architecture principles, standards, and best practices for platform services. /li /ul h3Cloud Infrastructure and Services: /h3 ul liLead the development and maintenance of cloud platform environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), ensuring robust, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure. /li liDrive the migration of on-premise systems to cloud-based platforms, optimizing costs and improving agility. /li liOversee cloud resource management, ensuring platforms are optimized for performance, availability, and scalability. /li /ul h3Platform Operations and Reliability: /h3 ul liEnsure the reliability, availability, and performance of all platforms, with a strong focus on uptime, disaster recovery, and system health. /li liEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the health and performance of platforms, ensuring they meet internal and customer expectations. /li liImplement and oversee comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems to proactively identify and address issues. /li liDevelop and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs) for platform services, ensuring adherence to operational standards. /li /ul h3DevOps and Automation: /h3 ul liLead the implementation of DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for improved platform performance and agility. /li liDrive the automation of platform provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and management to reduce manual intervention and increase operational efficiency. /li liPromote a culture of collaboration between development, operations, and IT teams to streamline delivery processes. /li /ul h3Team Leadership and Development: /h3 ul liLead, mentor, and grow the platform services team, including platform engineers, cloud specialists, and DevOps practitioners. /li liBuild a high-performing team by hiring, training, and providing professional development opportunities for staff. /li liEstablish clear goals and expectations for platform services staff, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. /li liPromote cross-functional collaboration within the platform services team and with other departments. /li /ul h3Budget and Resource Management: /h3 ul liDevelop and manage budgets for platform services, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high levels of platform availability and performance. /li liManage capacity planning, ensuring that infrastructure and platform resources scale efficiently as demand increases. /li /ul h3Innovation and Continuous Improvement: /h3 ul liStay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps. /li liIdentify opportunities for platform enhancements and lead the implementation of new technologies or methodologies that improve platform efficiency, /ul h3Your Profile: /h3 ul li10+ years’ experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps, including senior leadership roles. /li liStrong people manager with proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams. /li liDeep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), platform architecture, and scalable distributed systems. /li liSolid hands-on understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, IaC, automation, monitoring, and reliability engineering. /li liStrategic mindset with a track record of defining platform vision, driving cloud transformations, and ensuring
