Job Overview
The Senior E2E Architect position requires an expert in mobile telecommunications with a focus on Radio Access Network design, optimization, and performance management. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wireless communications theory and modulation principles, as well as deep knowledge of mobile RAN technologies and protocols, including GSM, UMTS, LTE, and emerging technologies such as 5G NR.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop Technical Strategies: Develop the technical strategy of the assigned domain, ensuring it aligns with business requirements and technical needs.
2. Design Network Architecture: Design telecommunications network architecture, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, and performance.
3. Evaluate Technologies: Evaluate new telecom technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
4. Analyze Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for network infrastructure.
5. Develop Solutions: Develop comprehensive telecom solutions that meet business needs and regulatory and standard compliance, taking into account the impact on existing systems and operations, and leveraging state-of-the-art technologies.
6. Ensure Transversality: Ensure that proposed solutions are fully integrated with existing telecom and IT systems, and, in case of transversal solutions, that the different components are fully interoperable.
7. Manage Vendors and Partners: Collaborate with telecom vendors and external partners to evaluate offerings, negotiate contracts, discuss designs&roadmaps, and validate offered products and services.
8. Optimize Networks: Conduct performance analysis and optimization of telecom networks to maximize efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
9. Create Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures, to support system maintenance and troubleshooting.
10. Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to network engineers to facilitate the transition towards the implementation and operational phase of a project.
