Project Director | Hyperscale Data Centres | Freelance
Overview
We are partnering with a global leader in mission-critical construction to support the delivery of multiple hyperscale data centre projects for in Belgium. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are looking to appoint three experienced Project Directors to lead major work packages.
This is a rare opportunity to take on a strategic leadership role within one of the most high-profile data centre programmes in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the successful delivery of large-scale data centre projects from construction through to commissioning
* Oversee full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (construction, engineering, commercial, and client stakeholders)
* Act as the primary interface with key stakeholders, including end clients, contractors, and consultants
* Drive programme performance, risk management, and commercial outcomes
* Ensure all health, safety, and compliance standards are met across the project
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Director / Senior Project Manager on large-scale construction projects
* Strong background in data centres, mission-critical, industrial, or complex infrastructure projects
* Experience delivering projects of significant value (€100M+)
* Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
* Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
* Fluent in English (additional European languages are an advantage)
