The company is entering a new phase of development in Belgium, with the objective of strengthening its operational footprint and scaling its performance.
This role is directly linked to the development of a strategic hub in Bornem, playing a key role in supporting growth, structuring operations, and ensuring high performance in a fast-paced environment.
This is not a standard operations role, it offers a strong level of ownership, visibility, and impact on the site’s performance.
Position Overview
As Site Manager, you will take full ownership of the Bornem hub and be responsible for its operational performance, team management, and continuous development.
This is a hands-on and high-impact position, where you will be expected to:
* Structure and stabilize operations

You will act as the local leader of the site, with full accountability for results.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
* Oversee daily operations (inbound, sorting, outbound, transport coordination)
* Ensure smooth parcel flow and on-time performance
* Manage volumes, peak periods, and operational capacity
Team Leadership
* Lead, structure, and develop operational teams (blue collars and supervisors)
* Manage workforce planning, including temporary staff
* Build a strong, performance-driven culture
Performance and KPIs
* Define and monitor key KPIs (productivity, quality, service level, costs)
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure operational excellence and efficiency
Process and Project Management
* Support the ramp-up and stabilization of the site
* Implement best practices and operational standards
* Contribute to automation and improvement projects
Stakeholder Management
* Act as the main local point of contact
* Collaborate with central teams (HR, transport, finance, operations)
* Ensure alignment between operational and business objectives
Profile
Experience
* 10+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain
* Experience in site management, warehouse management, or operations management
* Background in 3PL, parcel, retail, or industrial logistics environments
Skills
* Strong operational and hands-on mindset
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* KPI-driven and performance-oriented
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Continuous improvement mindset
Languages
* Dutch: mandatory
* English: mandatory (professional level)
* French: a plus
