Your function
The Legal Manager Belgium will be the trusted adviser to the local management team and support all legal entities in Belgium while working in close alignment with the Senior Legal Director Northern Europe. You will provide strategic guidance on a wide spectrum of topics, contribute to preventive law initiatives, and act as a key partner to Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and R&D.
* Provide high-level legal counselling on regulatory affairs, transactions, operations, commercial contracts, intellectual property and corporate matters.
* Analyse investments, litigations and commercial files, delivering pragmatic and timely recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with Belgian legislation and internal policies, advising stakeholders across all business functions.
* Support Marketing and Sales in advertising, promotions and consumer-facing initiatives.
* Co-define preventive law strategies and compliance programmes together with the Senior Legal Director.
* Secure regulatory conformity of products, labelling, claims and packaging, collaborating with Sales, Marketing and R&D.
* Monitor emerging regulatory trends and ensure relevant topics are integrated into business priorities.
* Negotiate with external partners and manage interactions with external counsel.
* Represent PepsiCo in meetings with trade associations and regulatory stakeholders.
Your profile
* You hold a Belgian Master’s degree in Law.
* You have 5 to 8 years of experience as a business lawyer in a leading international law firm and/or multinational company.
* You have strong expertise in business law, commercial contracts, litigations, intellectual property and competition law.
* You combine analytical strength with commercial awareness and a pragmatic, hands-on mindset.
* You communicate clearly, influence stakeholders effectively and collaborate confidently across levels.
* You are a strategic thinker, able to balance short-term priorities with long-term vision.
* You are enthusiastic, accurate and able to work within tight deadlines when needed.
* You have excellent writing skills in Dutch, French and English.
* You demonstrate curiosity for digital tools and are comfortable working in an AI-enhanced environment.
