Key responsibilities:
Technology Strategy and Roadmap DevelopmentDefine strategies and roadmaps for current and emerging technologies, including infrastructure, cloud, on-premises solutions, and innovative trendsAssess the impact of new technologies on the IT landscape and propose actionable recommendationsDevelop and maintain a Technology Reference Architectu re to guide IT initiativesCreate and manage technology component whitelists/blacklists to ensure compliance and securitCloud Strategy and AdoptionDefine roadmaps for cloud solutions and ensure alignment with organizational goalsDevelop and implement a Cloud Adoption Framewo rk, incorporating best practices for cloud migration and operationIT Operations ManagementDesign and define operational models fo r 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line supportEstablish and manage monitoring systems to ensure system reliability and uptimeTechnology Governance and PoliciesDefine governance to manage manage technology component whitelists/blacklists and to ensure complianceDefine policies for the use of open-source technologies and ensure adherence across the organizationDefin e Disaster Recovery (D R) an d Disaster Avoidance (D A) processes and implementation plaInnovation and Emerging Technology AdoptionActively monitor and evaluate future innovations and emerging technologies for potential adoptionProvide strategic input on integrating new technologies into the existing IT ecosysteCollaboration and Stakeholder EngagementFacilitate technology discussions across infrastructure, cloud, and operational domains with technical and non-technical stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objective
What you bring:
Educational Background:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven Experience:Expertise in technology strategy development, IT operations management, and cloud architecture.Hands-on expertise in infrastructure, cloud, and on-premises solutions.Experience with monitoring tools, DR/DA processes, and operational support models.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud adoption frameworks.Familiarity with IT monitoring systems and other innovative (trending) technologies in the current hype cyles.Understanding of technology governance, including whitelisting/blacklisting policies.Soft Skills:Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies.Preferred qualifications:Certification in ITIL, Cloud Architect (AWS, Azure, GCP), or similar.Experience with innovation frameworks and technology trend analysis.
