As a Product Portfolio Manager, your primary mission is to optimize, manage, and develop Falk & Ross’s product portfolio to meet the needs of the promotional textiles market, strengthen our differentiation versus competition, and support sustainable business growth.
The Product Portfolio Manager is the « driver » of the portfolio: he understands the market, drives the performance of existing products, identify growth opportunities, and build Falk & Ross’s differentiation in a highly competitive environment.
Market & Competition Analysis (Voice of the Market)
Conduct structured competitor analysis (=Wholesaler) : portfolio, positioning, pricing and strategy.
Portfolio Performance Management
Segment products portfolio to strengthen top rotators, support slow movers, recommend phase-out for non-rotators.
Define and execute a lifecycle management strategy from launch to phase-out.
when gaps are identified, evaluate alternatives (existing brands in the market) or collaborate with B&C to assess product development opportunities
Manage reseller pricing segmentation according to customer size, potential and strategic importance.
Support sales negotiations with clear models and value-based arguments.
Recommend optimal distribution strategies per country (retail, online, direct, etc.).
Develop effective sales enablement tools (product sheets, USPs, competitive comparisons) to equip sales teams.
Performance Analysis
Provide management with dashboards and ad-hoc analyses from launch to discontinuation.
5–10 years in Product Management, Category Management, or Product Marketing, preferably in textiles, FMCG, or B2B distribution.
~ Proven experience managing broad and complex product portfolios.
~ Master’s degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent.
Solid business view with focus on profitability.
Expertise in product lifecycle management.
Excellent communication skills (written & oral) in French or Dutch and English
Ability to lead transversally and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
