For a leading global pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an experienced Strategic Procurement Consultant. In this role, you will focus on optimizing procurement processes and managing supplier relationships across engineering, production, packaging, construction, and capital service activities.
Strategically optimize procurement processes and supplier management
Review and manage procurement schedules
Conduct bid analyses and process purchase orders
Prepare and deliver reports on purchasing activities to project teams
Drive cost savings through competitive bidding and market analysis
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline procurement workflows
Lead team coordination: prepare agendas, consolidate data, follow up on actions
Bachelor’s Or Master degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience in procurement/buying (preferably in pharma or life sciences)
Procurement AI and LLMs (e.g., SAP)
Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance is a plus
Fluent in English and Dutch
Strong focus on innovation through AI in procurement
