Vice President, Compliance for a National Credit Union (Permanent) Latitude is seeking an experienced financial services compliance professional to join the leadership team of a highly regarded national credit union client as Vice President of Compliance.
As the leader of our client’s compliance department, the ideal candidate will manage the credit union’s overall compliance with applicable rules, regulations and statutory requirements and serve as the designated Compliance Officer and subject matter expert in compliance, ensuring the organization remains current and responsive to changes in laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the compliance group of a highly regulated industry and be comfortable providing practical and authoritative guidance to business stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of compliance experience in a highly regulated industry
Familiarity with consumer lending laws, BSA, AML, OFAC, and related financial services regulations preferred
Proven ability to manage a team, independently handle complex compliance matters and provide practical, business-focused solutions to stakeholders
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Outstanding references

Location: Tampa Bay or South Carolina (remote candidates may be considered)
Compensation Salary range: $140,000 to $160,000 annually, with an annual bonus of up to 20%. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k), and generous leave policies.
