As a Sales Specialist, your day will revolve around engaging with key clients across Belgium promoting Siemens Energy’s controls, digitalization and electrical portfolio. You’ll identify and pursue opportunities, manage strategic accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. Your role is pivotal in driving growth through proactive customer engagement, accurate forecasting, and seamless coordination with tendering and operations teams.
As Belgium leads the transition to renewable energy, a passion for adapting to new technologies, understanding evolving customer needs, and exploring innovative solutions—while ensuring business continuity for existing clients—will be key to success in this position.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Drive sales of controls, digitalization and electrical offerings across utilities, renewables, and industrial sectors.
2. Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase Siemens Energy’s market share and client spend.
3. Identify and capture all opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
4. Collaborate with product promoters and tendering teams to influence early-stage project specifications and secure contracts.
5. Support service agreements and digital service initiatives, including energy management and asset management.
6. Represent Siemens Energy as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
What You Bring
7. Proven sales experience in the Energy industry, with a strong track record in sales and account management.
8. Technical background in controls engineering or trade experience, with site experience and knowledge of controls equipment and systems.
9. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence customers at all levels.
10. Proficiency in CRM tools and a disciplined approach to opportunity tracking and forecasting.
11. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and regions, supporting cross-business opportunities and customer engagement.
12. A proactive, goal-oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and customer excellence.
13. Knowledge of contract management is an advantage;
14. Fluent knowledge of the French, Flemish and English language in word and writing.
