We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join a strategic Data & AI project within a European institution, contributing to the design, development, and evolution of high-impact digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop robust back-end architectures for web applications.
* Build and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
* Implement core business logic and server-side services using Python.
* Design, implement, and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
* Develop scalable architectures using containerization and cloud services.
* Ensure application security, data protection, and best development practices.
* Optimize application performance and scalability.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
* Perform code reviews, debugging, and ongoing maintenance.
* Produce clear and structured technical documentation.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (front-end, UX/UI, product, data, etc.).
Technical Requirements
* Strong experience with Python and web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
* Solid understanding of RESTful API design.
* Proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
* Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
* Knowledge of security best practices and data protection standards.
* Proficiency in Git and Agile methodologies.
* Experience with Linux systems and virtualized environments.

Education
