You will work as a Senior Business Data Analyst with partial responsibility as a Project Manager, supporting initiatives related to water and wastewater management. Your role focuses on translating stakeholder needs into structured analyses and solutions, while ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, time, and budget.
You operate in a complex transformation context, working across domains and projects, and coordinating closely with other analysts and project managers.
Your responsibilities include:
As Senior Business Data Analyst (?80%)
Contributing to project definitions, product backlogs, and roadmaps based on analytical input.
Translating needs from internal and external stakeholders into business analyses and solution proposals.
Reconciling innovation-driven needs with requirements arising from organisational or structural changes.
Performing in-depth individual analysis and facilitating working groups to align on solutions and accelerate change adoption.
Identifying, assessing, and escalating risks and bottlenecks in a timely manner.
Preparing training materials, documentation, and communication for stakeholders.
Reporting on progress, outcomes, and analysis results.
As Project Manager (?20%)
Monitoring project progress and taking corrective actions to ensure delivery within time, budget, scope, and quality constraints.
Proactively managing project risks and issues, including diagnosis and mitigation.
Maintaining transparent and up-to-date reporting on budget, planning, scope, risks, and dependencies.
Leading projects in line with agreed project management methodologies, ensuring consistent application.
Managing content and planning dependencies with other projects and initiatives.
Collaborating closely with Business Analysts and project teams within the same domain.
What are we looking for?
You have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the water or wastewater sector.
You have at least 5 years of experience in project management.
You have proven experience with business process development and optimisation (BPM).
You hold a Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) and can provide the certificate.
You are fluent in Dutch at CEFR level C2.
