The Role of a Network Infrastructure Architect is a complex and challenging position that requires extensive experience in IT, particularly in large enterprise environments. In this role, you will be responsible for redesigning hybrid network landscapes, collaborating with internal architects, and interacting with external vendors to ensure the successful implementation of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess the Current Infrastructure: Evaluate the current state of the network infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and define requirements for a future-proof hybrid network.
* Collaborate with Internal Architects: Work closely with internal architects to drive the network redesign process, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and that best practices are applied.
* Interact with External Vendors: Engage with external vendors and suppliers to align on technical expectations and delivery, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Requirements:
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Network Infrastructure Architect, with 10+ years in IT, ideally in complex and large enterprise environments.
* Skills: Proven ability to lead architecture redesigns independently, from concept to implementation; hands-on understanding of hybrid networks, including Azure, AWS, and on-premise setups; strong knowledge of zero-trust networking principles and security standards.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in less mature or evolving IT environments.
* Languages: Fluent in English and/or French and Dutch.
