We are currently looking for a MES Design Engineer to support one of our pharmaceutical partners near Brussels.In this role, you will contribute to the design, improvement, and maintenance of electronic Master Batch Records within a GMP‐regulated manufacturing context. Your ResponsibilitiesAs an MES Design Engineer, you will be involved in activities such as:Supporting the design and configuration of MES batch templates and production workflowsTranslating process requirements into clear, compliant designsEnsuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with GMP and operational needsParticipating in the transposition and transformation of existing production documents into digital formatsSupporting updates, modifications, and improvements to existing MES recipesPreparing and reviewing technical documentation, including rationales, change controls, and related quality documentsWorking with engineering, production, QA, and validation teams to ensure smooth deployment of MES functionalitiesProviding technical support during troubleshooting, testing, and qualification activities.
What You BringYou hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, IT, or a related field — or you've built equivalent technical expertise through hands‐on experienceYou have at least one year of experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, ideally in a role connected to digital manufacturing or production processesYou already have exposure to MES design, eMBR creation, or the digitalization of manufacturing workflowsYou understand the fundamentals of GMP, validation practices, and process documentationYou are detail‐oriented, analytical, and comfortable collaborating with cross‐functional teamsYou communicate fluently in English, and you can also work in FrenchYou're confident using standard IT tools (Excel, Word, documentation platforms) and feel at ease navigating technical systems.
