Job Description Accounting & Reporting Oversee statutory and consolidated accounting (BE GAAP & IFRS)
Ensure timely, accurate and performance‑driven monthly and annual closings
Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards
Tax Governance Assume overall responsibility for group tax matters
Coordinate with external tax advisors
Secure compliance and mitigate fiscal risks
Team Leadership Lead and develop a team of ±15 accounting professionals
Structure performance management and succession planning
Drive engagement within a senior and experienced workforce
Transformation & Change Management Lead finance transformation initiatives
Accelerate digitalisation and process optimisation
Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency
M&A & International Development Support financial due diligence processes
Lead post‑merger accounting integration
Align newly acquired entities with group standards
Strategic Partnership Report directly to the CFO
Act as a business partner within the Finance leadership ecosystem
Contribute to strategic discussions and participate in Executive Committee meetings when required
The Successful Applicant Strong expertise in BE GAAP and IFRS (insurance sector exposure is an asset)
Proven experience in team management and change leadership
Background in an international group and/or post‑M&A integration
High affinity for digital finance, ERP systems and process optimisation
Ability to combine operational excellence with strategic perspective
Fluent in French, Dutch and English
