For Darling Ingredients Rendering & Specialties Belgium, located in Denderleeuw, we are looking for a Sales Manager Proteins & Fats in our Sales department. As a Sales Manager you are responsible for as well the account management of existing clients as the business development (new markets, new clients, new applications, …) of sales of functional & commodity proteins (CAT 3) in mainly pet food, feed and fertilizer markets. Tasks & responsibilities Introduce and sell animal proteins & fats in versatile market segments Formulate, forecast and realize sales plans and activities in the designated product/market combinations Maintain and further developing long term and successful partnerships with key customers Take care of product presentations and advising on the application possibilities of the products Create new business opportunities by product innovation Provide sales reports and relevant market information on a regular base Manage Sales Back Office Team Qualifications Master Degree in Food Technology, Bio Engineer, Animal Nutrition or equivalent through experience Relevant working experience Knowledge of the European feed, petfood & aquafeed industry and relevant products and applications is a plus Affinity with animal nutrition Preferably experience at an international organization Willingness to travel 20% of the time in Europe Fluent in Dutch, French & English We offer Working in a people-oriented, hands-on international and dynamic culture with international exposure.
