Position SummaryZoetis is seeking an agile, hands‑on HR leader to shape the people agenda at our Louvain‑la‑Neuve site (550+ colleagues across manufacturing, R&D, and support functions). LLN produces a range of pharmaceutical and biologic products and is a critical node in Zoetis’ global manufacturing and supply network. In this highly visible, matrixed role, you will partner with the Site Leadership Team and collaborate across global HR (GMS, R&D, and enterprise COEs) to deliver talent, culture, and capability outcomes, positioning LLN as a flagship site in Belgium and the region.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR Business Partnership: Serve as the primary HR partner to the LLN Site Leadership Team; define and execute an integrated people strategy aligned with corporate, GMS, and local priorities. Shape the talent agenda: workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and capability building to support growth and operational excellence. Lead organizational design and change initiatives; promote agile, scalable structures and ways of working. Champion Zoetis culture, well‑being, inclusion, and colleague experience at LLN. Act as the local HR liaison for global functional leaders, ensuring consistent deployment of enterprise programs with local relevance. Partner with Belgium & Netherlands HR to support market activities; collaborate with COEs (Talent, Total Rewards/Payroll, HR Technology, Colleague Experience). Belgium and enterprise‑wide support to key HR and business projects and initiatives.Compliance, Labour and Employee Relations: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and Zoetis HR policies. Manage relations with the Works Council and Unions, leading a comprehensive strategy for engagement and governance. Support employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with the ER COE.Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee full-cycle recruitment for LLN in partnership with the TA COE; ensure a diverse, high-quality pipeline for critical roles. Drive workforce planning, succession management, and talent calibration with local and functional leaders. Ensure robust onboarding, performance management, and development processes that build capabilities and retain talent.Leadership & Team Development: Direct and coach the LLN HR team, driving alignment and delivering best practice HR support. Facilitate leadership development and coaching programs for functional leads as needed. Represent HR at the LLN site-level leadership forums and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives.Candidate ProfileEducation & Experience: Degree in HRM, Business, or related discipline; CIPD membership preferred. 10+ years HR experience with at least 3–5 years at a senior HR level or equivalent. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential. Strong experience within a multinational environment, operating effectively within a matrix, and proven success in key HR disciplines i.e. Business Partnering, talent acquisition/management, payroll, operations, etc. Experience leading labour relations and interacting with Works Councils and Unions. Proven success operating within a highly matrixed, multinational environment. Proven experience of HR team management alongside growing and developing team members.Skills & Competencies: Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, pragmatic style. Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner cross‑functionally and build excellence relationships within HR and across the business. Strong leadership presence and ability to lead teams at a senior level through change. Proven Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within the company. Comfortable managing ambiguity and driving alignment in complex structures. Strong business acumen alongside financial savvy and budget management.
