Automation Software Engineer (Siemens) (Ghent area), BelgiumDevelop and implement automation solutions across industrial projects Program and configure: PLCs (Siemens TIA Portal / PCS 7) Motion control systems (gearing, camming) Drives (Siemens, SEW, Danfoss) HMI / SCADA systems Lead or contribute to machine start-up and commissioning on-site Support revamp projects and optimisation of existing production lines Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Automation / Electrical Engineering / Electromechanics 3–10+ years experience in industrial automation software Strong experience with: Motion control (gearing, camming) PLC programming and industrial software Experience with drives (Siemens, SEW, Danfoss) Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach SCADA knowledge Experience in machine building or system integration Fluent Dutch (essential) Basic French is a plus
