SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION
We're currently recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of complex software solutions within the digital security sector.
This role focuses on understanding business needs, shaping strategic outcomes, and ensuring that technology solutions align with organisational objectives.
You will work across stakeholders and delivery teams to drive clarity, efficiency, and value throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across software delivery initiatives.
* Engage with senior stakeholders to identify business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
* Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements in a structured and traceable manner.
* Create and maintain process models using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
* Define business cases, scope, and success criteria for digital security solutions.
* Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment between business needs and delivered functionality.
* Support agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews.
* Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement validation sessions.
* Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and security requirements relevant to the digital security domain.
* Identify and drive process improvements and optimisation opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
* Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within IT/software delivery environments.
* Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
* Practical experience with BPMN for process modelling and analysis.
* Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
* Background working on digital security, cybersecurity, identity/access management, or data protection projects is highly desirable.
* Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams effectively.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
