Key initiatives include: /pulliMigrating non-SAP data to Azure to modernize data infrastructure. /liliImplementing strategic use cases that will drive business value and innovation. /liliBuilding a self-service reporting strategy to empower teams across the organization. /li /ulpTo help achieve these ambitious goals, the organization is looking for a passionate Azure Data Engineer to strengthen the Data Analytics team. /ph3Main Mission /h3pAs an Azure Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the organization’s data ecosystem, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will play a key role in delivering reliable data to Data Science, BI, and business teams. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or other Azure services. /liliImplement modern data architectures (Data Lake, Delta Lake, Lakehouse). /liliAutomate data ingestion, transformation, and exposure processes. /liliCollaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to understand needs and propose suitable solutions. /liliDocument data flows, models, and best practices. /liliAssist in implementing a self-service reporting strategy using Power BI and Databricks. /liliMaintaining the Microsoft Azure platform. /li /ulh3Required Technical Skills /h3ulliExperience with distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, PySpark, Databricks). /liliStrong skills in SQL, Python, and/or Scala. /liliKnowledge of CI/CD principles applied to data engineering. /liliExperience with Power BI administration and governance. /liliKnowledge of application integration patterns (e.g. REST API/AMQP). /liliAdhere to best practices. /li /ulh3Profile /h3ulliDegree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. /liliMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. /liliAnalytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy, and team spirit. /liliStrong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly. /li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments. /liliFamiliarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics). /liliBasic SAP knowledge (S4/Hana as a major data source). /li /ulpIf you thrive in a dynamic environment, love working with cutting-edge technologies, and want to make a real impact on the future of mobility in Brussels, we’d love to hear from you! /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
