About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Java professional with hands-on experience in Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines. You are comfortable working with Java development tools such as Eclipse and bring a strong understanding of automated build and deployment processes.
In this role, you will maintain and support our Jenkins environment, ensuring reliable, secure, and up-to-date build operations. You’ll also contribute directly to the evolution of a Java-based CI/CD framework and help keep developer tooling stable and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize our Jenkins pipeline framework written in Java.
Proactively monitor and assess Jenkins updates and upgrades (core releases, plugins, security advisories) to ensure a secure CI/CD environment.
Perform Jenkins upgrades and validate plugin stability and compatibility.
Troubleshoot and resolve build failures, pipeline errors, and CI/CD performance issues.
Upgrade, maintain, and support Eclipse IDE on Windows, including plugin configuration.
Maintain clear documentation of pipeline processes, configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+).
Solid experience with Eclipse IDE (installation, configuration, plugin management).
Familiarity with build tools such as Ant and Maven.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines in a UNIX/Linux environment.
Understanding of Web Services (SOAP).
Strong knowledge of SCM tools such as Subversion (SVN) and Git.

Nice to Have (Optional)
Experience writing shared pipeline libraries or custom Jenkins plugins.
Familiarity with CI/CD security best practices.
Exposure to Windows enterprise environment management for dev tooling.
