Misson:
The Real Estate Asset Manager facilitates the complete relationship between Carrefour Belgium and the franchisees, and this in close collaboration with the operational Business Units Hypermarkets, Supermarkets and Proximity and the supporting services (Expansion, Technical, Legal, Controlling, …).
He/she is the privileged discussion partner (SPOC) of the owners and subtenants for all operational real estate matters and is responsible for the daily management and the optimization of a varied rental portfolio.
The Real Estate Asset Manager has the following responsibilities:
* Securing the real estate portfolio:
extending the leases and (re)negotiating the conditions, with supervision of their effective compliance during the entire duration.
* Determining and executing the real estate strategy in collaboration with the operational managements.
* Anticipating and following up on the real estate needs (relocation, expansions, commercialization, …).
* Guaranteeing the quality of the transversal relationships with all stakeholders.
* Solving and following up on operational disputes between the different involved parties and coordinating the necessary corrective actions.
* Preparing files for the internal committees and following up on their execution.
Profile
* You have enjoyed a university education (legal, real estate, ...) or are equivalent through experience.
* You have at least five years of experience in the real estate function.
* You are an
excellent negotiator
, you take decisive decisions and adapt yourself effortlessly to all situations.
* You are
bilingual (NL/FR)
. English is a plus.
* You have a customer-oriented attitude and show the necessary empathy.
* You are meticulous, analytical and proactive.
* You possess strong social skills and are known for your
team spirit
