As Senior Consultant at BDO Wavre, you are the trusted advisor your clients need. You'll transform financial data into strategic insights that help businesses, from innovative SMEs to international corporations, make decisions with confidence and clarity.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Consultant Accountancy, you'll collaborate closely with managers and partners to:
1. Independently manage various client accounts.
2. Offer your clients personalised and pragmatic financial advise through regular visits. You’re their go-to business advisor, carrying them from point A to point Z.
3. Tackle detailed financial tasks: update clients’ financial results, prepare interim balance sheets, manage VAT returns, and compile annual financial statements and tax returns.
4. Develop future talent by mentoring junior colleagues while building your leadership skills.
5. Collaborate closely with colleagues from various Business Practices in order to create a real impact for our clients.
What do you bring to the table?
Here’s what makes you a perfect fit as a Senior Consultant Accountancy:
6. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics.
7. At least 2 years of significant accounting experience, with solid technical skills. · ITAA certification is a plus (we’ll support your journey)
8. Fluency in French and in English is a plus.
9. Curious mindset with creative problem-solving skills, always taking on challenges with an optimistic mindset.
10. You love to collaborate with colleagues and clients, expressing your analytical insights in a thoughtful way. Even with tight deadlines.
