We are looking for a VMware & SDDC System Engineer to join our Managed Services team. You will design, deploy, and operate modern virtualized infrastructures based on VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize/Aria, and Dell EMC VxRail.
You will work on critical environments, ensuring performance, reliability, automation, and continuous improvement for our customers.
Key Responsibilities :
Architecture & Deployment
* Design and implement VMware SDDC solutions (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize/Aria).
* Deploy and manage Dell EMC VxRail hyper‐converged platforms.
* Participate in infrastructure modernization, migration, and optimization projects.
Operations & Managed Services
* Ensure day‐to‐day operations and lifecycle management (patching, upgrades, compliance).
* Perform proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and health checks.
* Handle incident, problem, and change management following ITIL best practices.
* Provide 24/7 support in rotation (if applicable).
Security & Networking
* Configure NSX micro‐segmentation, distributed firewall, and load balancers.
* Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with internal standards.
Automation & Optimization
* Automate operational tasks using PowerCLI, PowerShell, Ansible, or vRO.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of infrastructure services.
Customer Engagement
* Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers.
* Deliver monthly service reports and propose improvement plans.
Required Skills :
* Strong experience with VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize/Aria.
* Hands‐on experience with Dell EMC VxRail or similar HCI platforms.
* Good understanding of networking (L2/L3, firewalling, load balancing).
* Proficiency in automation (PowerCLI, PowerShell, Ansible, vRO).
* Experience in Managed Services and ITIL processes.
* Comfortable with Windows and/or Linux environments.
