Job Description
As (Senior) Communication Officer, you are responsible for planning, creating and managing our communication activities across social, digital, email, media and internal channels. You lead the content and media planning, manage brand and sales campaigns and act as the main point of contact for press and media relations. You combine strong copywriting skills with a strategic mindset and are comfortable taking ownership of projects end-to-end, from concept and planning to execution and evaluation. You will also support internal communication initiatives and collaborate with HR to ensure clear, engaging communication for employees.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead our content strategy, content calendar and media plan
* Write and edit high-quality copy for campaigns, website, social media, email, and presentations
* Oversee and execute email marketing, including newsletters and automated flows
* Own and manage our social media strategy and channels
* Lead brand and sales campaigns, from concept to launch and reporting
* Write and distribute press releases and maintain relationships with press and media contacts
* Ensure content on all platforms is up-to-date, relevant and aligned with brand and business goals
* Monitor performance and provide insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversion
* Support HR and internal communication, including employer branding and employee updates
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
* A bachelor's degree in marketing or journalism or equivalent experience
* You are fluent in Dutch and English, French is a strong plus
* Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
* Hands-on mentality: you work independently, proactively and step in where needed
* Enthusiastic team player, comfortable contributing in a small and dynamic marketing
