A leading European energy infrastructure group (confidential) is hiring a modern SAP Solution Architect to shape a multi-country SAP landscape. It’s product-aligned and integration-heavy: modernise pragmatically without disrupting mission-critical operations across Finance, HR, Projects/PM, Infrastructure and Asset Management.

* Location: Brussels (Hybrid) + periodic Berlin travel
* Hybrid: Min. 2 days/week in Brussels
* Languages: English + (French or Dutch) required; German is a plus

Core Responsibilities
* Define realisable target/transition architectures for SAP product clusters (OneSAP+ context).
* Document current/future SAP landscapes with Business/Domain/Solution Architects.
* Lead trade-offs (ADRs, ATAM/CBAM) and advise when SAP is - or isn’t - the right fit.
* Drive process/data/event integrations across SAP & non-SAP systems.
* Guide designs through governance/design boards; align stakeholders across product, architecture and delivery.
Essential Skills
* 6+ years as a Solution Architect in large enterprises; recent, hands-on knowledge of modern SAP.
* Enterprise architecture standards (ArchiMate, TOGAF); modelling with ArchiMate; Sparx EA is a plus.
* Depth in at least two: SAP BTP/services; SAP integration tech/protocols/patterns; SAP LOB portfolios; SAP dev frameworks (selection over coding).
* Agile/product-led ways of working; strong facilitation and crisp documentation.
* Language: fluent English plus fluent French or Dutch.
Nice to Have
* SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architect, BTP).
* Event-driven/hybrid landscapes; governance at scale.
* Sector experience in energy/utilities (not an IS-U specialist role).
