Job Description
* Calculate the strength and stability of steel structures and related detail connections according to standards and proprietary objectives.
* Determine and collect basic data such as loads, plans, calculation methods, and schedules.
* Create lifting and handling instructions.
* Solve technical problems identified by the drawing office or Project Manager.
* Report any problems in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Master's degree in Construction Engineering.
* Technical knowledge of materials.
* Knowledge of various European standards, including the EN 1993 series.
* Familiarity with DNV GL standards and FEM models.
* Experience with software packages such as SCIA Engineer, ANSYS, and/or AutoCAD 2D/3D.
* A proficient command of English.
