To support our growth and as part of a new position creation, we are currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative for the Wallonia region (Belgium), on a permanent contract.
Your mission :
1. Deploy the commercial strategy in your future region in coordination with national colleagues
2. Be the guarantor of Rovensa Next's image as well as the development of its revenue and margin
3. Ensure follow-up, advice, and support for the sales forces of our distributor clients
4. Implement promotional and development actions for the product range within our distribution network
5. Be able to analyze market expectations and adapt your offer according to needs
6. Contribute within your region to building a sales & marketing plan for strategic clients
7. Prospect, retain, and develop new clients
8. Define your annual sales forecasts for your sector and update them in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)
9. Contribute to the monitoring of agronomic services and trials, and participate in defining technical positioning and experiments
10. Lead technical meetings with your clients and gradually develop contacts with local and regional technical prescribers
11. Ensure competitive intelligence in your region
12. Represent the company at regional or national trade shows and participate in local and regional events to stay informed and promote the company
The talent we are looking for:
13. Degree in Agronomy/Agriculture/Agrobusiness (Bachelor's or Master's level) – Agricultural Engineer or Agronomy with a focus on Crop Production or Crop Protection
14. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position with a supplier or distributor
15. Excellent knowledge of the agricultural sector, agribusiness, and agricultural distribution
16. Strong product expertise in biosolutions: bionutrition, biocontrol, and adjuvants
17. Intermediate to advanced English level (B2) or fluent (C1) to operate in an international context
18. Dutch language skills would be an asset (oral comprehension and speaking)
19. Curious, dynamic, and rigorous, with a commercial mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a taste for challenges
20. Adaptability, relational flexibility, listening skills, and the ability to argue and convince will ensure success in this role
21. Good command of communication and facilitation techniques
22. Initiative-taking, proactive, autonomous, and well-organized
