Marketing Technology Team Lead Are you a technically skilled marketing technology professional with a passion for digital platforms and integrations? We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Technology Team Lead to join our dynamic organization. In this role, you will lead a team of web development and PIM & DAM experts, while bringing strong hands-on technical knowledge to the table. As a Marketing Technology Team Lead, you will drive projects that enhance our marketing efforts through technology, with a sharp focus on platform architecture, front-end development, and system integrations. You will strike the right balance between building in-house capabilities and leveraging external agency expertise — ensuring quality, speed, and knowledge retention within the team. Your responsibilities · Technical Leadership & Hands-On Contribution You are an active technical contributor, not just a manager. You bring hands-on expertise in Drupal CMS, including module configuration, theming, and custom development. You have strong JavaScript skills and are comfortable reviewing, contributing to, and guiding front-end and integration code. You design and oversee technical integrations between our digital platforms (website, PIM, DAM, CRM, analytics), defining integration patterns, APIs, and data flows. You oversee the technical architecture to ensure optimal platform interoperability and define the future roadmap for both new developments and continuous improvements. · Agency & Internal Resource Management You define a clear build vs. buy vs. outsource strategy, ensuring the right tasks are handled internally versus by external development agencies. You manage and evaluate external agencies and software vendors, setting clear deliverables, quality standards, and SLAs. You actively work to grow internal technical capabilities within the team, reducing over-reliance on external parties for core competences. You ensure knowledge transfer from agencies to internal staff, so expertise is retained and built upon within Reynaers. · Platform & Product Ownership Together with your team, you are the driving force ensuring the latest marketing technologies are leveraged across Reynaers Group, responsible for Reynaers Aluminium and Forster. You act as Product Owner for our online configurator & customer portal, and coach team members in their product owner role (public website, PIM, DAM). You coordinate the successful implementation of projects related to our existing digital platforms, including our website, product information management & analytics. · Stakeholder Collaboration & Roadmap You are the bridge between the local marketing community and internal/external software providers and developers to define and execute the marketing technology roadmap. You build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand needs and further optimize the use of marketing technology. You benchmark the current digital ecosystem, research market trends, and explore new digital platforms that contribute to our future marketing strategy. You provide 3rd line service support and deliver deep-dive technical training to local markets worldwide. Your Profile: You hold a master's degree and have 5 years' experience in a digital/web development or marketing technology function. You have proven hands-on experience with Drupal CMS (custom modules, theming, site architecture) — this is a key requirement. You are proficient in JavaScript (and ideally frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Node.js) and comfortable working with front-end codebases. You have a solid understanding of API-based integrations (REST/GraphQL), middleware platforms, and data flows between marketing systems. You have experience working with PIM & DAM systems, Google Analytics, and Salesforce (a strong plus). You know how to manage external development agencies : defining scopes, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality output. You are a people leader — inspiring and coaching a team is in your nature, and you actively grow the technical skill set of your team members. You have excellent project management skills : priority management, resource planning, and budget tracking. You have a proactive work ethic, a growth mindset, and a results-oriented attitude. You are comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can easily work across multiple teams. You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
