We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI developer to join this digital team for a temporary assignment to support several key reporting initiatives within our manufacturing operations. The candidate will join a small data team (Data Architect + data
engineer) and is expected to take ownership of the reporting and dashboarding layer to
build. Report will be build agile in a constant exchange with the business stakeholders.
What you will do : project & role description
The assignment includes two main focus areas:
Manufacturing & operational productivity Reporting - Develop leadership dashboards to monitor productivity performance (KPIs) across our manufacturing installations and locations, in multiple time dimensions.
CO2 & Energy Reporting - Support CTO team experts with data analysis and reporting on energy usage and emissions.
All data will reside on the operational data lake
The ideal candidate will be exposed to these key responsibilities during this mission:
Design and implement Power BI semantic models aligned with business logic.
Develop interactive dashboards and reports based on stakeholder needs
Translate business requirements into clear KPIs and visualizations.
Collaborate with the data team to ensure data quality and performance.
Work independently and proactively with (business) stakeholders, being in constant dialog to shape and finetune reports according to their needs.
Your profile: technical profile
Strong experience in Power BI, including Power Query, Data modeling and DAX
Solid understanding of data visualization best practices.
Familiarity with modern data lake concepts built on Microsoft technologies (Azure Data Lake Storage, Fabric, Databricks, SQL Services, etc)
Ability to work autonomously and manage stakeholder expectations.
Experience with Manufacturing data and/or CO2/energy reporting is a strong plus.
Used to work in Agile or iterative development environments
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
